We live in a day and time where we’re moving faster, we’re more connected than ever and so disconnected at the same time. We fill our lives with things and distractions all day long and suppress what’s truly sitting there for us.
We enjoy time with friends, work, being active, time with the kids and in our down times we distract ourselves with TV, social media and books. We often times forget to stop, to really slow down and feel into what’s sitting there for us….
We get so caught in our heads and forget to drop into our heart space. Some days our inner chatter gets so loud that it’s hard to hear and to think clearly. We get caught in all of the should, could, would do this, but… and our days seem to flow into one another, we sit in a space of overwhelm, stuck and unsure of what to do or how we should best move forward.
We accept this as normal and succumb to our circumstances thinking, maybe it’s just not meant to be….
